Author Guidelines

  1. Author may submit the manuscript to METALURGI, have to send original soft file manuscript (doc, docx). The checklist have to be checked.  
  2. Named should be state without academic degree, affiliation address and position should be state clearely after Title (Times New Roman (TNR) 1 space, sizes 12 font. 
  3. Manuscript should contain at least 2.000 words and should not exceed 10 pages including embedded figures and tables, without any appendix, and the file should be in Microsoft Office (.doc/.docx) or Open Office (.odt) format. It should be prepared  in A4 paper (21cm x 29.7cm) using 2.5 cm for inside margin and 2 cm for top, bottom, and outside margins.
  4. Mathematical equation should be clearly written, numbered orderly, and accompanied with any information needed.
  5. Header and footer including page number must not be used. All hypertext links and section bookmarks will be removed from papers. If you need to refer to an Internet email address or URL in your paper, you must type out the address or URL fully in Regular font.
  6. Citation and Reference are written according to IEEE style
  • Citations numbering should be numbered in [1], [2], [3], ... format, according to appearance order.
  • Wikipedia, personal blog, or non scientific website is not allowed to be taken into account.
  • Primary references should be at least 80% from at least ten references.
  • References shoul be taken from the late five years.

PENDAHULUAN

PROSEDUR PERCOBAAN,

  1. Abstrak; Naskah harus disertai intisari pendek dalam bahasa Indonesia dan abstract dalam bahasa Inggris ditulis TNR 10 jarak 1 spasi diikuti dengan kata kunci/keywords ditulis miring. Isi dari intisari/abstract merangkum secara singkat dan jelas tentang :
  • Tujuan dan Ruang Lingkup Litbang
  • Metoda yang Digunakan
  • Ringkasan Hasil
  • Kesimpulan
  1. Pendahuluan;Isi pendahuluan menguraikan secara jelas tentang :
  • Masalah dan Ruang Lingkup
  • Status Ilmiah dewasa ini
  • Hipotesis
  • Cara Pendekatan yang Diharapka
  • Hasil yang Diharapkan
  • Tata kerja/prosedur percobaan ditulis secara jelas sehingga dapat dipahami langkah- langkah percobaan yang dilakukan.
  1. Hasil dan pembahasan; disusun secara rinci sebagai berikut:
  • Data yang disajikan telah diolah, dituangkan dalam bentuk tabel atau gambar, serta diberi keterangan yang mudah dipahami. Penulisan keterangan tabel diletakkan di atas tabel, rata kiri dengan TNR 10 dengan spasi 1. Kata tabel ditulis tebal. Akhir ketrangan tidak diberi tanda titik .

Contoh : “Tabel 1. Harga kekerasan baja SS 316L”

Penulisan keterangan gambar ditulis di bawah gambar, rata kiri dengan TNR 10 jarak 1 spasi, format “in line with text”. Kata gambar ditulis tebal. Akhir ketrangan tidak diberi tanda titik.

  • Pada bagian pembahasan terlihat adanya kaitan antara hasil yang diperoleh dengan konsep dasar dan atau hipotesis
  • Kesesuaian atau pertentangan dengan hasil litbang lainnya

Implikasi hasil litbang baik secara teoritis maupun penerapan

  1. Kesimpulan; berisi secara singkat dan jelas tentang :
  • Esensi hasil litbang

Penalaran penulis secara logis dan jujur, fakta yang diperoleh

  1. Penggunaan singkatan atau tanda-tanda diusahakan untu memakai aturan nasional atau internasional. Apabila digunakan sistem satuan maka harus diterapkan Sistem Internasional (SI).
  2. Kutipan atau Sitasi
  • Penulisan kutipan ditunjukkan dengan membubuhkan angka (dalam format superscript) sesuai urutan.
  • Angka kutipan ditulis sebelum tanda titik akhir kalimat tanpa spasi, dengan tanda kurung siku dan tidak ditebalkan (bold).
  • Jika menyebut nama, maka angka kutipan langsung dibubuhkan setelah nama tersebut.
  • Tidak perlu memakai catatan kaki.
  • Urutan dalam Daftar Pustaka ditulis sesuai dengan nomor urut kutipan dalam naskah.

  • Sebaiknya penyitiran menggunakan Software Sitasi,
  • Sitasi menggunakan style Chicago citation
  1. Penyitiran pustaka dilakukan dengan memberikan nomor di dalam tanda kurung. Daftar pustaka itu sendiri dicantumkan pada bagian akhir dari naskah. Susunan penulisan dari pustaka sebagai berikut:

  1. Ucapan terimakasih ditulis dengan huruf kapital TNR font 12 dan ditebalkan. Isi dari ucapan terimakasih ditulis dengan TNR 12 dan spasi 1.
  2. Naskah yang dinilai kurang tepat untuk dimuat di dalam majalah akan dikirim kembali kepada penulis. Saran-saran akan diberikan apabila ketidak tepatan tersebut hanya disebabkan oleh format atau cara penyajian.


 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. This manuscript is originally author or group working results

  2. Manuscript is not being submitted, or peer reviewed to other scientific journal.

  3. manuscript format is openOffice, Microsoft word based on the manuscript template

  4. All text is written based on the METALRGI rules including referncing

  5. by checking all this term of condition, Author will follow all rules that EDITOR METALURGI has decided.
  6. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  7. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
 

Copyright Notice

1. As an author you (or your employer or institution) may do the following:

  • make copies (print or electronic) of the article for your own personal use, including for your own classroom teaching use;

3. Author Online Use

  • Personal Servers. Authors and/or their employers shall have the right to post the accepted version of articles pre-print version of the article, or revised personal version of the final text of the article (to reflect changes made in the peer review and editing process) on their own personal servers or the servers of their institutions or employers without permission from RCEPM-LIPI, provided that the posted version includes a prominently displayed RCEPM-LIPI copyright notice and, when published, a full citation to the original publication, including a link to the article abstract in the journal homepage. Authors shall not post the final, published versions of their papers;
  • Classroom or Internal Training Use. An author is expressly permitted to post any portion of the accepted version of his/her own articles on the author’s personal web site or the servers of the author’s institution or company in connection with the author’s teaching, training, or work responsibilities, provided that the appropriate copyright, credit, and reuse notices appear prominently with the posted material. Examples of permitted uses are lecture materials, course packs, e-reserves, conference presentations, or in-house training courses;

4. Articles in Press (AiP) service

  • RCEPM-LIPI may choose to publish an abstract or portions of the paper before we publish it in the journal. Please contact our Production department immediately if you do not want us to make any such prior publication for any reason, including disclosure of a patentable invention.

5. Author/Employer Rights

  • If you are employed and prepared the article on a subject within the scope of your employment, the copyright in the article belongs to your employer as a work-for-hire. In that case, RCMM-LIPI assumes that when you sign this Form, you are authorized to do so by your employer and that your employer has consented to the transfer of copyright, to the representation and warranty of publication rights, and to all other terms and conditions of this Form. If such authorization and consent has not been given to you, an authorized representative of your employer should sign this Form as the Author.

6. RCEPM-LIPI Copyright Ownership

  • It is the formal policy of RCMM-LIPI to own the copyrights to all copyrightable material in its technical publications and to the individual contributions contained therein, in order to protect the interests of the RCEPM-LIPI, its authors and their employers, and, at the same time, to facilitate the appropriate re-use of this material by others.
